PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The RIT Men's Track & Field team continued their 2022-23 indoor season with the Nazareth Alumni Opener at Golisano Field House, Friday.

• Graduate Student Matthew Funicelli won both the shot put and the weight throw, breaking the program record in the shot put with a throw of 15.86m/52'0.5'', besting the 15.82m/51'11' of Tim Wesley in 2009.
• The relay team of sophomore Matthew Resnick, first-year Andrew Koubek, first-year Benjamin Pochobradsky, and sophomore Max Stein won the 4x200 with a time of 1:33.21.
• Senior Tyler Hulse took first place in the high jump, defeating Buffalo State's Devin Austin by having no misses at 1.91m/6'3.25''.
• Sophomore Trenton Goyette came in second in the 300, while teammate first-year Ryan Senf finished fourth.
• Graduate student Aleksei Bingham ended the 3000 in second.
• The 4x400 team of Justin Jantzi, Goyette, Ryan Senf, and Matthew Skakal placed third.

The Tigers will next compete on Jan. 21 at the Brockport Invitational.
