Women's Hockey loses 5-1 at Mercyhurst

ERIE, Pa. – Graduate student forward Amy Dobson scored in the Tigers 5-1 loss at Mercyhurst, Friday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Dobson gave RIT a 1-0 lead on her goal at 19:29 of the first period.
  • Mercyhurst's Sara Boucher scored the first of her three goals at 9:11 of the second to tie the score.
  • Sydney Pedersen gave the Lakers the lead on her goal at 14:40 of the second period.
  • Boucher scored a pair of third period goals, while Vanessa Upson scored at 12:02 to make it a 5-1 final.
 
GAME NOTES
  • Mercyhurst outshot RIT 45-38.
  • Sophomore goalie Sarah Coe made 33 stops, while first-year Sophia Bellina made seven stops in relief.
