ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's volleyball team faces Ithaca in the Liberty League Tournament Semifinals on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
The fourth-seeded Tigers (16-16) swept fifth-seeded Vassar, 3-0 (25-22, 25-11, 25-21) at Clark Gymnasium in Tuesday's quarterfinals to qualify for their fourth-consecutive Liberty League Semifinal appearance.

Sophomore outside hitter
Liv Benard leads the Liberty League with 425 kills (next closest is 296). She is also ranked second in the conference with 3.66 kills per set and is 10th with a .214 hitting percentage. She logged her 10th double-double of the season with 14 kills and 11 digs in Tuesday's victory over the Brewers and has totaled double-digit kills in 16-straight matches entering Friday's semifinal. Benard totaled career-highs of 28 kills and 20 digs in last Friday's five-set victory at Skidmore (Oct. 28) a week after notching 25 kills and 10 digs in a four-set victory over visiting Union (Oct. 21).
Junior setter
Sydney Neff leads the conference with 948 assists (next closest is 781) and is second with 9.20 assists per set. She has compiled at least 30 assists on 18 occasions, along with eight matches with better than 40, including a season-high 56 assists to go along with 12 digs in the Skidmore victory. Neff is also fourth in the conference with 0.46 service aces per set.
Sophomore middle blocker
Cat Vento leads the Liberty League with a .327 hitting percentage, while graduate student
Calista Gasper is fifth (.286) and sophomore middle blocker
Grace Phelan is sixth (.275). The trio also ranks in the top-10 in blocks per set, led by Vento in second (0.86), followed by Gasper (0.72) in fifth and Phelan (0.71) in sixth.
Junior libero
Hailey Blixt leads the league with 72 service aces and is second with 0.62 service aces per set. She logged a career-high seven on two occasions, including the victory over Skidmore and the four-set loss to Messiah (Sept. 24).

Samantha Cox each had five kills while Blixt totaled a team-high eight digs.
RIT is in the hunt for its first championship match appearance since winning the program's first Liberty League title in 2018.
Second-seeded Clarkson faces sixth-seeded Union in Friday's other semifinal at 4:00 p.m. The Liberty League Championship match is scheduled for Saturday (Nov. 4) at 2:00 p.m. at Ithaca.
The Liberty League Tournament field expanded from four to six teams for the 2022 season after William Smith became the ninth member of the conference to field a women's volleyball team this year.
