ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's hockey team hosts Saint Michael's this weekend for a pair of non-conference games at the Gene Polisseni Center to open the home portion of the 2022-23 schedule.

RIT dropped a pair of non-conference games at No. 14 Vermont by matching scores of 5-2, last weekend.

Chloe McNeil scored a career-high two goals in Friday's loss. Graduate student forward

Jaymee Nolan had assists, along with juniors
Lindsay Maloney and

Sarah Coe made 23 saves in net.

CHA WEEKLY HONOREES
McNeil was a CHA Forward of the Week honorable mention selection, announced Monday.
Coe was an honorable mention Goaltender of the Week last week.

First year forward
Lexi Sung recorded an assist in Saturday's loss at Vermont for her first collegiate point. The week before, sophomore defensewoman
Addie Carr tallied an assist at UConn (Sept. 29) to record the first points of her career.
RANK AND FILE
Six of the Tigers first eight games are against opponents ranked in the DCU/USCHO Division I Women's poll. RIT began the season with a pair of games at No. 15 UConn followed by a two-game series at No. 14 Vermont. After this weekend's Saint Michael's sereis, the Tigers hit the road to play No. 6 Colgate (Oct 14-15). CHA rival Penn State is also ranked 11th in this week's poll.

Dobson leads the team and is tied for fifth in the league with three points. She is first in the league with 4.5 shots per game and is tied for fifth with0.75 points per game. McNeil is tied for fifth in goals, while Maloney is second in the league winning 44 draws.
Coe enters the weekend second in the CHA averaging 27.00 saves per game and is fourth with a 3.82 goals against average and fifth with a .880 save percentage.
