Men's Soccer wins 2-1 at Bard

ANNONDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY – RIT sophomore forward Jaden Winall Longdon tallied a goal and added an assist to lead the Tigers to a 2-1 win at Bard, Saturday.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Junior defender Daniel Gebura gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead on his goal in the 14th minute off an assist from Longdon.
  • Bard tied the score on a RIT own-goal in the 18th minute when a Tigers defender poked the ball into his own net off a Bard corner kick.
  • Longdon gave RIT a 2-1 lead on his goal in the 48th minute. First-year forward Gabriel Zaninetti sent a pass to Longdon who was making a run to the near-post. Longdon flicked a shot past the Raptors keeper, Gavin Hersey.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Bard 15-3, including eight on target.
  • The Tigers took nine corner kicks.
  • RIT moves into sixth place in the Liberty League standings.
