Men's Soccer wins 1-0 at Ithaca

ITHACA, N.Y. – RIT senior midfielder Randy Dickersbach scored to lead the Tigers to a 1-0 win at Ithaca in Liberty League action, Tuesday.
 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Ithaca's Aidan Keenan had a shot in the 22nd minute from eight yards out that he shot over the RIT net.
  • First-year forward Ethan Koseoglu fired a shot in the 35th minute from 18 yards out that Ithaca keeper Ian Whitfield saved.
  • Dickersbach gave RIT the lead on his goal in the 64th minute. He fired a shot that was saved by Whitfield. The rebound came back to DIckersbach, scoring into the corner.
 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT outshot Ithaca 12-8, including six on target.
  • The Tigers took three corner kicks.
  • Sophomore goalie Jason Trapp made four saves for the Tigers.
  • RIT moves into a three-way tie with Hobart and Vassar for second place in the Liberty League standings.
