ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's volleyball team split a pair of matches on the second day of the Brick City Invitational, Saturday. The Tigers rebounded from a 3-1 loss to WPI (25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15) to sweep Nazareth, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-19).
RIT 3, NAZARETH 0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-19)
- RIT sophomore outside hitter Liv Benard totaled a team-high 13 kills along with eight digs.
- Sophomore opposite Samantha Cox added 11 kills
- Junior setter Sydney Neff was credited with 34 assists and nine digs to go along with three service aces.
WPI 3, RIT 1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 25-15)
- Cox and Benard each logged 10 kills apiece.
- Benard also had seven digs and pair of assisted blocks.
- Neff and junior middle blocker Grace Phelan totaled 13 digs apiece.

RIT hosts back-to-back Liberty League matches next Friday and Saturday (Oct. 21-22) against Union (7:00 p.m.) and Vassar (2:00 p.m.), respectively.
