ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sophomore guard Emma Waite led RIT (7-4, 4-2 Liberty League) with 20 points to lead the Tigers to a 60-43 win over Union (3-8, 1-4 Liberty League) in Liberty League action from Clark Gym Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• RIT led 17-8 after the first quarter.
• The Tigers led by as many as 13 points in the first half.
• Union outscored RIT 18-15 in the second quarter as the Tigers took a 32-26 lead into halftime.
• The Tigers defense was stifling in the third quarter holding Union to four points.
• RIT outscored the Dutchwomen 28-17 in the second half

GAME NOTES

• RIT shot 24-of-54 from the floor, including 5-of-14 from beyond the arc.
• The Tigers scored 12 points off of Union turnovers and 28 points in the paint.
• Waite shot 8-of-12 from the floor to go along with three assists.
• Senior Alyssa Juergens tallied 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while junior forward Kaleesha Joseph added 14 points and nine rebounds.
• Senior Sarah Henretta added 10 points and four rebounds.
• Megan Lee led Union with 11 points.
