Women's Hockey falls to No. 6 Colgate, 13-0

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT women's hockey team lost 13-0 to visiting No. 6 Colgate Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Colgate's Dara Greig scored four first-period goals, including three assisted by Danielle Serdachny, as the Raiders opened a 5-0 lead after 20 minutes of play.
  • Kalty Kaltounkova's goal from one knee highlighted Colgate's five second period goals.
  • Kaltounkova's third punctuated a three-goal third-period for Colgate. 
GAME NOTES
  • RIT entered the game as the top College Hockey America penalty killing team. The Tigers killed six of seven Raider power-play attempts, including four in the third period.
  • RIT freshman goaltender Sarah Coe (Brooklin, ON) made 35 saves in her third appearance this season.

RIT hosts Union on Friday (Oct. 1) at 6 p.m. and also on Saturday (Oct. 2) at 2 p.m. at the Gene Polisseni Center in a pair of non-conference games.
