ADDING TO THE BROWN COACHING ERA
RIT scored its fastest first pair of goals (7:28) and first three goals (34:57) from the start of a game in the Celeste Brown era at RIT last Sunday (Sept. 19) against Mercyhurst. The three RIT goals also matched the most goals in a game in Coach Brown's RIT coaching tenure.

FRESH FACES
The Tigers have 13 new players on this year's roster, including 12 freshmen and one transfer. RIT's 12 first-years are the most of any CHA team for 2021-22 and are more than doubles three of the four other teams in the league. Two sets of twins - Annie Burks (Sun Valley, ID) and Jessie Burks (Sun Valley, ID) along with Jordyn Bear (Ochapowace, SK) and Kyla Bear (Ochapowace, SK) also joined the program this season.

FIRST FIRSTS
Freshman forward Megan McCormick (Clarendon Hills, IL) notched her first collegiate goal, while freshman forward Bailey Kehl (Quincy, WA) and sophomore transfer Chloe McNeil (Ottawa, ON) added first collegiate assists last Sunday (Sept. 19).

LAST TIME OUT
RIT enters the contest after a 6-3 non-conference loss at Mercyhurst last Sunday (Sept. 19).

ABOUT THE RAIDERS
Friday's contest is Colgate's first game of the season. Colgate opens the 2021-22 season after winning its first ECAC Hockey Championship and playing to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals last season. The Raiders also won their second-straight regular season title, finishing the season with a 15-7-1 record after falling in overtime to Minnesota-Duluth, 1-0, in the regional final. Colgate was ranked No. 6 in the first USCHO.com and USA Hockey national polls of the season and was also picked first in the ECAC preseason poll. Junior captain Danielle Serdanchy returns after an All-American sophomore season which included ECAC Player of the Year and Best Forward honors along with first-team all-conference.
