ALFRED, N.Y. – RIT swept a doubleheader at Alfred State, Tuesday, taking the opener, 6-0, before earning an 11-1 victory in six innings to complete the afternoon.

Natalie Barrera (Worcester, MA/Doherty Memorial) went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored an two RBI while senior shortstop
Raquel Estrada (Middletown, NY/Middletown) finished 3-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored to lead the offense in the opener. Senior pitcher
Torie Adler (West Chester, PA/B. Reed Henderson) threw a complete-game five hitter to earn the victory.
In game two, Estrada went 2-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBI while junior third baseman
Jennifer Vickery (Gloversville, NY/Gloversville) finished 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. Senior pitcher
Melissa Gould (Harleysville, PA/Souderton Area) twirled a complete-game six hitter, striking out four while only allowing one earned run.
