Emma Schock scored her first two collegiate goals to lead the Tigers to a 2-0 win over St. Lawrence (4-4-2, 1-3-1 Liberty League) Saturday. RIT head
Liz Masterson won her 107th career game Saturday, breaking the record of Tom Natalie who won 106 games at RIT from 1996-2009.
How it Happened
- Schock scored her first collegiate goal in the 13th minute to give RIT the 1-0 lead. Graduate student Morgan Monteith sent a long pass out to Elle Hallock on the flank. Hallock sent a service into the Saints penalty box that Schock fired into the far corner.
- Junior Christine Cataldo-Smith and graduate student Courtney McHale had chances early in the second half for RIT. Cataldo-Smith fired a shot off the cross-bar, and the rebound came to McHale who's shot was saved by St. Lawrence goalie Keely Snode.
- Schock scored her second of the game in the 56th minute to give the Tigers a 2-0 advantage. Monteith fired a shot from distance that Snode saved off the cross-bar. Schock was there for the rebound, firing a shot into the net to give RIT a 2-0.
Game Notes
- RIT out-shot St. Lawrence 22-4, including 11 shots on net for the Tigers.
- Graduate student Alyssa Salls made two saves, earning the win in net for RIT.
- Snode made nine saves for the Saints.
