Adriana Rodriguez scored two goals to lead the Tigers to a 4-0 win over St. John Fisher (5-4) Tuesday. Freshman
Gwendolyn Williams tallied a goal and an assist for the Tigers.
How it Happened
- Rodriguez scored in the 41st minute off an assist from Williams to give RIT the lead. Rodriguez fired a shot from the top of the Fisher penalty area that clanged off the cross-bar and down into the net.
- Freshman Ella Collins scored her first collegiate goal in the 73rd minute to give RIT a 2-0 lead.
- Williams tallied her third goal of the season in the 74th minute to make the score 3-0. She scored on a booming shot from 25-yards out that found the bottom corner.
- Rodriguez scored her second in the 77th minute off assists from Morgan Monteith and Erin Allor to make it 4-0.
Game Notes
- RIT out-shot Fisher 25-3, including 12 shots on net for the Tigers.
- Graduate student Alyssa Salls made two saves, earning the tie in net for RIT.
- Halle Tickell made eight saves for Fisher.
