CANTON, N.Y. - RIT freshman goaltender
Sarah Coe made 34 saves and despite not allowing any even-strength goals, the Tigers fell 3-0 to St. Lawrence in a non-conference game, Friday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- St. Lawrence's Aly McLeod scored her first of two power-play goals midway through the first period for a 1-0 Saints lead.
- With no scoring in the second period, Shailynn Snow scored the Saints' second power-play goal, 2:37 into the third period.
- McLeod notched her second power-play goal and St. Lawrence's third to round out the game's scoring with 8:50 remaining.
GAME NOTES
- Freshman goaltender Sarah Coe posted a season-high save percentage at .919.
- It was Coe's sixth game this season with 30 or more saves.
- Freshman defender Kyla Bear attempted a team-high seven shots for RIT.
- Co-scoring leader, sophomore Emma Roland registered three shots on net.
- RIT increased its CHA shot-blocking lead to 113, after a dozen blocks against the Saints.
