KEENE, N.H. – The RIT women's volleyball team swept a pair of matches at the Keene State Invitational, Saturday. The Tigers defeated Eastern Connecticut, 3-0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14) and the host Owls, 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-18) to win their ninth match in 10 outings.
RIT 3, Eastern Conn. 0 (25-21, 25-13, 25-14)
- RIT senior outside hitters Katie Hobler and Taylor Higgins each tallied 11 kills and seven digs while senior libero Kiana Walker totaled 14 digs in the victory.
- Freshman setter Sydney Neff compiled 33 assists and three service aces along with two solo blocks.
- Senior middle blocker Calista Gasper totaled three blocks (two solo) as the RIT defense held the Warriors to a .041 hitting percentage.
RIT 3, Keene State, 0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-18)
- Hobler compiled 18 kills and a .552 hitting percentage along with nine digs.
- Neff added 35 assists while directing the Tiger attack to a .294 hitting percentage.
- Walker added nine digs while the RIT defense held the Owls to a .048 hitting percentage.
- Freshman middle blocker Cat Vento was credited with five of the team's 15 total blocks.

RIT hosts Liberty League rivals Union and Skidmore next Friday and Saturday (Oct. 8-9), respectively. Matches are set for 7:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. starts each day.
