OSWEGO, NY - The RIT men's tennis team (6-8) beat SUNY Oswego (4-5) by a score of 7-2 on Sunday afternoon, winning four out of six singles matches and all three doubles contests from the campus of Oswego.

The Tigers opened with an 8-4 win at first doubles as
Brennan Bull (Birmingham, MI/Birmingham Seaholm) and
Jacob Meyerson (Cranston, RI/Cranston West) beat Oswego's Vlad Djuraskovic and Brian Emigholzby.
Nick Lim (West Caldwell, NJ/West Caldwell) and
Patrick Mathews (Rochester, NY/Churchville-Chili) defeated Anthony Salerno and Curtis Farmer 8-1 at the second position, while
Carter Casimir (Lewisburg, PA/Lewisburg Area) and
Jake Wolicki (Canton, MA/Canton) beat Seth Stopler and Just Scuderi by a score of 8-0 to complete the doubles sweep.

In singles play, RIT topped SUNY Oswego in four of six matches. The Lakers took the first two matches before RIT would win the next four. Mathews got the Tigers going defeating Farmer 6-4, 6-1.
Jake Wolicki (Canton, MA/Canton) followed that up with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Salerno, while
Michael Peters (New Hope, PA/Holy Ghost Prep) defeated Daniel Maslowski at fifth singles by a score of 6-0, 6-3. RIT finished up with
David Trimmer (York, PA/Dallastown) beating Scuderi 6-2, 6-1.

RIT will return to action on Thursday, April 18, at 4 p.m. against cross-town rival University of Rochester.
