Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – RIT senior defenseman
Adam Brubacher (Elmira, Ontario/Powell River Kings) scored a late third-period goal in a 5-1 setback at American International, Saturday.
GAME NOTES
- The Yellowjackets (5-6-0, 5-3-0 AHA) swept the two-game series versus the Tigers (8-6-2, 5-5-2 AHA) after also winning Friday's game, 4-2.
- RIT junior goalie Logan Drackett (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) finished with 32 saves.
- AIC opened a 2-0 lead after the first period, made it a 3-0 lead with the lone tally of the second and scored twice in the first 1:25 of the third period.
- Brubacher carried the puck into the AIC zone and weaved through two defenders to score on a wrist shot inside the left post with 1:24 remaining in the game.
- AIC converted 3-of-8 power play attempts as RIT was whistled for nine penalties and 37 PIM.
- AIC finished with a 37-17 advantage in shots on goal.

RIT returns home next week for a pair of Atlantic Hockey games with Mercyhurst on Friday and Saturday. Face-off is set for 7:05 p.m. both nights.
