SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - RIT freshman defender Maddie Dunham (Glenview, IL/Chicago Mission) and senior forward Jade Mancini (Hamilton, Ontario/Bishop Tonnos) scored third-period goals to lead the Tigers back for a 2-2 tie at Union, Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Union got on the board with 6:03 left in the second period and made it a 2-0 lead with 13:17 left in the third period.
• Dunham scored a short-handed goal off an assist from freshman forward Rachel Goff (Naperville, IL/Chicago Mission) with 7:59 left in the third period.
• Mancini tied the game with 2:04 remaining in the third period. Junior forward Jordan Marchese (Mississauga, Ontario/Brampton Canadettes) and senior forward Madison Farrand (Potomac, MD/Winston Churchill) were credited with assists. 

GAME NOTES

• Senior goalie Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) totaled 31 saves for her sixth 30-plus save showing in eight appearances this season. 
• Union ended the game with a 33-28 shot advantage.
• RIT was hit with nine penalties for 18 penalty minutes while Union committed six penalties for 12 PIM.
