ERIE, PA -- The RIT (0-5-1, 0-2-0 CHA) women's hockey team by Mercyhurst University (4-1-1, 2-0-0 CHA) 6-0 in CHA action from the Mercyhurst Ice Center in Erie, Pa. Saturday afternoon.

Shots were 39-20 in favor of Mercyhurst. The Tigers were 0-for-5 on the power play, while Mercyhurst went 3-for-6 with the extra skater. Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) took the loss in net, making 20 saves. Jessi O'Leary (Woodstock, New Brunswick/Notre Dame Hounds) made 13 stops in relief for the Tigers. Kennedy Blair picked up the win for Mercyhurst, stopping all 20 shots she face.

RIT returns to action on Friday, Oct. 25 against Brown University. Game-time from the Gene Polisseni Center is 6 p.m.
