ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- The RIT women's volleyball team won its sixth straight match with a 3-1 win at Bard College Friday evening. Scores were 25-15, 25-18, 16-25, 25-14.

"It was a great night that everyone contributed," said RIT head coach Jim Lodes. "We are excited for tomorrow."

Taylor Higgins (Peru, NY/Peru) led RIT with 12 kills and 10 digs. Katie Hobler (Rochester, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) added 10 kills, and thre assisted blocks, while Joelle Marston (Roxbury, NJ/Roxbury) added eight kills. Brianna Ellis (Wayne, PA/Radnor) handed out 26 assists, and Kiana Walker (Lloydminster, Alberta/Lloydminster Comprehensive) had 11 digs.

RIT returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Vassar College. That match gets underway at 2 p.m.
