ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's hockey team returns home to take on Lindenwood University in a pair of College Hockey America games from the Gene Polisseni Center on Friday, Nov. 30 and Saturday, Dec. 1. Friday's game starts at 2 p.m., while Saturday's contests begins at 12 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for adults, and $3 for youth. Admission is free for all RIT faculty, staff, alumni and students (one ticket per valid ID). Tickets are available at the Gene Polisseni Center Box Office, by calling (585) 475-4121 or by visiting

On Saturday, RIT will wear special blue jerseys to honor the Rochester Icecats organization and bring awareness to Rochester Special Hockey. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off at a later date. Rochester Special Hockey is a nonprofit, charitable organization offering ice hockey instruction to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Monroe County and the surrounding counties. Since, 2000, the Icecats have worked with over 150 individuals helping them to develop skills in the game of hockey, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The Tigers (3-8-4, 1-4-0 CHA) are looking to get back in the win column after dropping a pair of road games at Penn State last week by scores of 3-0 and 2-1. Sophomore assistant captain
Jordan Marchese (Mississauga, Ontario/Brampton Canadettes) scored her first collegiate goal in the 2-1 loss. Goaltender
Terra Lanteigne (Hatchet Lake, Nova Scotia/Charles P. Allen) made 86 saves on 90 shots against in the two games.
Senior assistant captain
Kendall Cornine (Kinnelon, NJ/Morristown Beard) leads the team in scoring with 11 points on eight goals and three assists, while
Brittney Gout (Caledon, Ontario/Brampton Canadettes) has a team-best eight assists and is second with 10 points.
Ellie Larson (Hutchinson, MN/Hutchinson Tigers) leads all RIT defensemen with eight points on a goal and seven assists. Lanteigne leads all of Division I with 514 saves and is 11th with a .941 save percentage. She also has a 2.11 goals against average, while playing in all 15 games.
Lindenwood enters the weekend series with a 3-9-2 overall record and is 1-4-1 in league play. The Lady Lions were in action over last weekend on home ice against Minnesota State University, dropping both games by scores of 1-0 and 2-0. Sierra Burt leads Lindenwood in scoring with eight points on three goals and five assists in 13 games. Taylor Girard is right behind with seven points in eight games, while Taylor Kirwan has a team-best six assists. Jolene deBruyn is 3-6-1 in net with a 2.74 goals against average and a .923 save percentage.
RIT leads the all-time series between the two schools, 10-9-5. The two teams will also meet for two games at Lindenwood on Feb. 8-9, 2019.
