PITTSFORD, NY — The RIT women's tennis team (4-5, 0-4 Liberty League) fell 5-4 in home Liberty League action against Union College (1-4, 1-2 LL) at Mendon Racquet Club Sunday afternoon.

Union won two of the doubles matches, by scores of 8-3 and 8-2, before the pair of Alyssa Hering (Albion, NY/Kendall) and Brianna Dimisko (Hyde Park, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) defeated Union's Maddie Hamparian and Megan Holmes, 8-3.

Carmen Navas-Davis (), Marie Jubert (Fairport, NY/Fairport), and Maddy Price (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker) each won matches in straight sets for RIT, but it wasn't enough, as each team won three singles matches, giving Union the 5-4 victory.

The Tigers are off until the end of the month, when the Tigers travel to take on Hamilton College for non-league action on Sunday, March 26.
