PITTSFORD, NY - The RIT women's tennis team (4-3, 0-2 Liberty League) opened the Spring portion of its schedule by falling to Liberty League foe Skidmore College (5-1, 5-0 Liberty League), 9-0 at the Mendon Racquet Club Sunday afternoon.

The Thoroughbreds were in control throughout, sweeping the three matches before taking all six singles matches in straight sets.

RIT is back in action next Saturday on the road against Liberty League rival St. Lawrence University. That match gets underway at 10 a.m. The Tigers are back home the following day, as Union College comes to town.
