ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's tennis team (4-14, 1-6 Liberty League) finished the home portion of their schedule as well as Liberty League play, falling to No. 37 St. Lawrence (14-6, 7-1 Liberty League) at the RIT Tennis Courts on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers honored senior Kelsie Redburn (Byram, NJ/Pope John XXIII) as part of the Senior Day and Tiger Den festivities.

The two wins for RIT both came in singles play. Jessica Coombs (Dansville, NY/Dansville) won in the sixth spot via default. In the top singles slot, Amelia Ying (Marlton, NJ/Cherokee) breezed through the first set, before holding on in the second set for the 6-2, 7-5 victory over Emily Wyman

All four victories for the nationally ranked Saints were in straight sets, as they also swept through doubles play to clinch the match.

The Tigers will close out the regular season with a make-up contest against SUNY Geneseo, on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
