ROCHESTER, NY -
The RIT women's tennis (1-7) team lost to Divison II Roberts Wesleyan College (10-9), 6-3 on Wednesday evening in a very competitive match. Across the board there were a lot of impressive rallies from the Tigers, and RIT certainly did not go down without a fight. The doubles win gave RIT a momentum boost going into the singles matchups.

The singles lineup was Bjork, Heaviland, Wang, Baker, Reithel and Marie Jubert (Fairport, NY/Fairport). Across the board there were several standout matches. Both Bjork and Heaviland fought to make a comeback in their respective matches and although they did not win; the effort was immense.
