ROCHESTER, NY -- The No. 1 RIT men's lacrosse team will face conference rival, No. 11 Union College in a Liberty League showdown Wednesday, April 15 at 4 p.m. on the campus of Union College. These two teams met three times last season with RIT coming out with three wins.
RIT enters the week 13-0 and ranked No. 1 for the second time this season. The Tigers went 2-0 last week, posting a 15-10 win over No. 19 Nazareth College on Wednesday, and a 22-7 win versus Vassar College on Saturday.

Kyle Aquin (Hamilton, Ontario/St. Jean De Brebeuf) scored four goals, while
Ryan Lee (Sharon, Ontario/The Hill Academy) tallied two goals and two assists.
Allister Warren (Toronto, Ontario/Malvern Collegiate Institute) added a goal and three assists, and
Pat Johnston (Norwell, MA/Norwell) made 11 saves to give RIT its eighth straight over its archrivals.
Saturday, Aquin tallied seven points on four goals and three assists in the win over Vassar. Aquin, this week's Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week, became the seventh player in program history to surpass the 200-point milestone. He sits seventh all time in scoring with 203 career points.
Warren, who finished with two goals and two assists Saturday, became the eighth player in program history to reach 200 career points. He is eighth all time in scoring at RIT with 200 career points on 106 goals and 94 points.

RIT comes into Wednesday first in all of Division III and the Liberty League in scoring, averaging 17.69 goals per game. RIT has outscored its opponents 230-94 this season and has scored in double figures in all 13 games this season. RIT's man-up unit is ninth in Division III and tops in the conference, converting 19-of-41 (46.3%) of its chances.
RIT features 10 players with 10 or more points, seven players with at least 20 points, six players with 30 or more points, and three players with at least 40 points on the season. Lee leads the team in scoring and is first in the conference with 57 points on 35 goals and 22 assists. He is second in the league averaging 2.0 assists per game and has scored at least one point in 23-of-24 career games he has played at RIT.

Warren is second in scoring with 45 points on 28 goals and 17 assists, and
Eddie Kiesa (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) is third with 40 points on 26 goals and 14 assists. Senior
Brad Gillies (Oakville, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) is fourth in scoring with 34 points and leads the team with 26 assists.
Defensively, RIT is tops in the Liberty League, allowing 7.23 goals per game. Junior
Pat Johnston (Norwell, MA/Norwell) has started all 13 games in net, with a 13-0 record, an 8.17 goals against average and a .590 save percentage. Johnston is 48-4 all time at RIT, one win shy of tying the all time wins total of 49 set by John Foley. Junior long-stick midfielder
Matt Hossack (Port Perry, Ontario/Port Perry) leads the team with 32 caused turnovers and ground balls with 61.

RIT has won 205-of-366 (56.0%) of its face offs led by freshman
Jake Quay (Latham, NY/Shaker) who has won 94-of-172 (54.7%) of his draws. Sophomore
Steven Ricci (Rochester, NY/Pittsford Sutherland) has won 66-of-121 (54.5%) draws this season and has 22 grounds balls.
Union comes into Wednesday's game 10-2 on the season, averaging 12.75 goals per game. The Dutchmen have outscored their opponents 153-108, and are converting 33.9%Â (20-of-59) of their man-up chances. Union is fourth in the Liberty League allowing 8.87 goals per game and has held opponents to 10 goals seven times this season.
Peter Richardson leads the Dutchmen in scoring with 34 points on 16 goals and 18 assists. Charlie Ross is second with 33 points on 30 goals and three assists, while Richard Gregory is right behind with 29 points on 18 goals and 11 assists. Conor Hall has won 59.6% (149-of-250) of his face-offs with 90 ground balls. Stefan Basile has a 9-2 record in net for Union with a 9.19 goals against average and a .550 save percentage.
RIT is 13-3 all time versus Union, including a 3-0 record last season. The Tigers posted an 8-7 win on April 17 in Rochester, N.Y. The two teams met in the Liberty League Championship at Tiger Stadium, with RIT coming away with a 13-11 win. The final meeting came in the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals where the Tigers beat the Dutchmen 11-6. The Tigers have won five straight over the Ducthmen.
