ROCHESTER, NY -- The No. 1 RIT men's lacrosse team will face No. 13 Ithaca College in showdown of two nationally ranked teams on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 12 p.m. at Higgins Field on the campus of Ithaca College.
RIT enters Saturday 1-0 on the season after a 17-10 win over No. 3 Stevenson University at the Carrier Dome on Monday. Ithaca enters Saturday 1-0 on the season after a 13-10 win over Marywood College last Saturday.

Versus Stevenson,
Ryan Lee (Sharon, Ontario/The Hill Academy) led the Tigers with a career-high eight points on five goals and three assists.
Chad Levick (Newmarket, Ontario/Huron Heights) tallied five goals in his first game in a Tigers uniform, while
Allister Warren (Toronto, Ontario/Malvern Collegiate Institute) had five points on three goals and two assists, and
Brad Gillies (Oakville, Ontario/St. Thomas Aquinas) tallied a goal and three assists.
Eddie Kiesa (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) dished out three assists, and
Pat Johnston (Norwell, MA/Norwell) got the win in net, making 19 saves.
The Tigers trailed 4-3 after the first quarter, but outscored the Mustangs 14-6 the rest of the way, pulling away with seven fourth-quarter goals. The Tigers went 6-of-8 on man-up and won 16-of-31 face-offs. RIT fired 42 shots and grabbed 44 ground balls.

In Saturday's win over Marywood, John Januszkiewicz led the Bombers with six points on four goals and two assists. Steve Danylyshyn tallied three goals, while James Manilla had a goal and two assists. Scott Sidnam got the win in net, making 13 saves.
Ithaca out shot Marywood 45-34, and dominated the ground ball battle, 39-18. The Bombers went 1-of-5 on man-up, while holding Marywood to three goals in nine man-up attempts.
Ithaca is 27-23 all time versus RIT, but the Tigers have won seven straight games over the Bombers, including a 20-8 win in the 2014 NCAA Tournament Second Round at Tiger Stadium. Lee led RIT with five points on three goals and two assists.
Kyle Aquin (Hamilton, Ontario/St. Jean De Brebeuf) and
Eddie Kiesa (Syracuse, NY/Jamesville-Dewitt) each had a goal and two assists, while
Kyle Sterzin (Fairport, NY/Fairport),
Tyler Shaw (Tully, NY/Tully),
Tyler Brooks-Lambert (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes) and
Braden Wallace (Oakville, Ontario/Abbey Park) each tallied a pair of goals. Michael Walker led the Bombers with four goals. The Tigers also defeated Ithaca, 15-11 on March 1 at RIT.
