Brooks-Lambert, Krzyston and Wisman to represent men's lacrosse at 2014 USILA/Laxworld North/South Game

ROCHESTER, NY – Three members of the RIT men's lacrosse team will represent the Tigers in the 2014 USILA/Laxworld Division III North/South All-Star game. Seniors Tyler Brooks-Lambert (Seneca Castle, NY/Midlakes), Taylor Wisman (Seattle, WA/Inglemoor) and Jack Krzyston (Bedford, NH/Bishop Guertin) will compete for the North on Sunday, May 25 at 10 a.m. at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Md.

Brooks-Lambert won a RIT single-season record 292 face-offs in 2014, while grabbing a school-record 178 ground balls. A 2014 first team All-Liberty League selection and USILA honorable mention All-American, Brooks-Lambert led the team and was tied for 41st nationally in face-off winning percentage, winning 61.2 (292-479) percent. The senior face-off specialist is tied for 15th in Division III averaging 8.47 ground balls per game. He won a career-high 26 face-offs versus St. Lawrence on April 26. He had 10 or more ground balls eight times this season, and finished his career at RIT fifth all-time with 360 ground balls and won 61.4 percent of his draws (617-of-1005).

Krzyston, a 2014 second team All-Liberty League selection and USILA honorable mention All-American, played in 17 games in 2014 tallying 33 points on 22 goals and 11 assists. The 2013 Liberty League Offensive Player of the Year and USILA first team All-American, Krzyston tallied a season-high five points twice versus Ithaca and Brockport. Krzyston finished his illustrious RIT career tied for 20th all time in scoring with 143 points on 93 goals and 50 assists. Krzyston, the 2013 PAYCHEX Male College Athlete of the Year, tallied seven points on six goals and an assist in five postseason games

Wisman, a 2014 first team All-Liberty League selection and a USILA third team All-American, finished the season fifth on the team in scoring with 41 points on 26 goals and 15 assists. A 2013 USILA honorable mention All-American, Wisman's 26 goals were one shy of a career high as he finished his career 18th all-time in scoring with 151 points on 72 goals and 79 assists. Wisman was 13th in the conference averaging 1.24 goals per game, and tallied a season-best five points on two goals and three assists in a 14-11 win over Nazareth on April 9..

RIT finished the season with a 20-1 record advancing to the NCAA Semifinals for the third time in four years. The Tigers, who were ranked first in the USILA poll for 11 straight weeks, ended the season with school records for 20 wins, 347 goals scored, and 573 points.
