CANTON, NY – The RIT women's tennis team (1-4, 0-3 Liberty League) dropped a road contest to Liberty League foe St. Lawrence University (12-3, 2-2 Liberty League) by a score of 9-0 at Newell Field House on Sunday morning.
 
St. Lawrence, ranked 15th regionally, did not lose a set on Sunday. At first singles, Sara Bjork (Gansevoort, NY/Saratoga Springs) battled before falling to Elkie Vandenbeemt, 6-4, 6-2.
 
RIT is back in action on Thursday with a non-conference road contest at Roberts Wesleyan that gets underway at 4 p.m.
