ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT wrestling team dropped close match to SUNY Oneonta, 24-21 in the regular season finale from Clark Gym Saturday evening. Five different Tigers won events on the evening.

Winners for RIT included Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne) (149 lbs.), Ethan Testa (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) (157 lbs.), Nicholas Greenquist (Spring Lake, NJ/St. Rose) (174 lbs.), Wyatt Albanese (Canastota, NY/Canastota) (184 lbs.) and Eddie McBride (Germantown, MD/Northwest) (285 lbs.).

Mayville pinned Evan Wallace at 3:16 for his ninth pinfall of the season, improving to 26-7 overall on the season. Testa improved to 4-7 with a 10-9 decision over Frankie Provenzano at 157 lbs. Albanese picked up an 8-6 decision over Anthony Marino, improving to 5-14 on the season. Eddie McBride (Germantown, MD/Northwest) picked up a forfeit win at 285 lbs. Greenquist defeated Shaun Gillen of Oneonta, 7-2.

The Tigers will compete at the Si Ostrach Meet in Cleveland, Ohio next Saturday, February 22 beginning at 12 p.m.
