WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The RIT wrestling team (3-5) went 1-2 at the 2014 Budd Whitehill National Duals hosted by Lycoming College at Lamade Gymnasium on Friday.
RIT opened by losing to No. 13 Messiah, 30-10, then fell to Ohio Northern, 28-15. RIT won its lone match of the day via forfeit, as Muskingum did not compete.

Brad Mayville (Marion, NY/Wayne)# was the lone Tigers to win both matches, defeating Greg Kabakjian of Messiah via major decision, 11-2, then earning a 7-2 win over Stephen Feucht of Ohio Northern, 7-2. He improves to 22-4 on the season at 149 lbs.

The Tigers are back in action on Saturday at 12 p.m. vs. Case Western Reserve or York to conclude action at the Budd Whitehill National Duals.
