CARLISLE, PA -- The RIT men's soccer team (2-2-0) fell to No. 17 Dickinson College 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Carlisle, Pa. as part of the Brothers Pizza Blue Jay/Red Devils Classic. The Tigers defeated Elizabethtown 2-1 on Saturday.
Shots were 15-9 in favor of Dickinson who improve to 4-0-0 on the season. RIT took four corner kicks to just one for the Red Devils.
Mark Reeves (Macedon, NY/Palmyra-Macedon) took the loss in net for RIT, making five saves. Jacob Schreer picked up the win for Dickinson, making four saves.
Isaac Pitkow (4'), Nate Latshaw (13') and Daniel Gaj (43') each scored goals for Dickinson. Derek Kachadurian dished out a pair of assists, while Luca May had a helper.
For RIT, junior
Danny Bloshkin (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool) fired four of the Tigers five shots on goal, while freshman
Connor Wesch (Massapequa, NY/Kellenberg) had the other.
The Tigers return to action on Saturday, September 14 versus SUNY Cortland at 2 p.m. in Cortland, N.Y.
