ROCHESTER, NY - The RIIT women's tennis team (0-5) dropped an 8-1 decision to University of Rochester (9-4) at the Goergen Athletic Center on Thursday evening.

Maite Vera Antelo (Santa Cruz, Bolivia/Mayor San Loranzo) was RIT's lone winner of the evening, securing a 6-2, 6-1 win over Rochester's Rachel Suresky at second singles. At first singles, Elizabeth McGrail (Rockford, IL/Guilford) played Rochester's Frances Tseng tough before falling in three sets.

RIT is right back in action on Saturday with a road contest at Bard which gets underway at 1 p.m.
