PITTSFORD, NY -- The RIT (5-3) men's basketball team lost 74-51 to Nazareth College (4-2) in the seventh place game of the 48th Annual Wendy's College Classic on Saturday afternoon on the campus of St. John Fisher College. Senior #

JP Reagan (Cortland, NY/Cortland) added 13 points and (Baldwinsville, NY/C.W. Baker)Kamron Davis (Syracuse, NY/Nottingham)# chipped in 10 points.
RIT shot 38.8 percent from the floor on 19-of-49 shooting, including 4-of-15 from behind the arc. The Tigers were 9-of-16 from the foul line and were out rebounded 36-23 by the Golden Flyers.
The Tigers fell behind by as many as 12 points in the first half, but faught back with 13-6 run over the final 6:13 of the half, trailing 33-28 at the break. Balenton scored 10 of his 18 points in the first half to lead RIT, while Davis and Reagan scored six and five points respectively.
RIT went on a scoring draught early in the second half, scoring their first field goal with 15:45 to play on a jumper by Reagn. The Tigers scored just 23 points in the second half, shooting 32 percent from the floor.
Nazareth shot 50 percent from the floor on 27-of-54 shooting. Jack Giles and Scott Hayford led the Golden FLyers with 19 points apiece. Brad Ford added 17 points and grabbed 16 rebounds.
RIT is off until January 7 when the Tigers face Keuka College at 6 p.m. on the campus of Keuka College in Keuka Park, N.Y.
