ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT men's basketball team returned to action for the first time in 2014, hosting Brock University in exhibition action from Clark Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers fell to the Badgers 73-64.
RIT shot 50 percent from the floor on 26-of-52 shooting. The Tigers were 5-of-14 from behind the arc and made 7-of-12 from the foul line. #

Brock shot 43.5 percent from the floor on 27-of-62 shooting. The Badgers went 9-of-26 from three point land, and were 10-of-13 from the foul line. Dani Elgadi led Brock with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Tshing Kasamba added 22 points and nine rebounds, while Jay Fast piyched in 12 points for the Badgers.
RIT trailed 40-28 at the half, but rallied in the second half, outscoring the Badgers 36-33. After trailing by as many as 20 points in the second half, RIT rallied and pulled to within five points late in the game.

The Tigers return to action on Tuesday, January 7 when RIT faces Keuka College at 6 p.m. in Keuka Park, N.Y.
