ANNONDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY -- The RIT (4-4, 3-1 Liberty League) women's lacrosse team tied or broke four records en route to a 21-0 win over Bard College in Liberty League action on Saturday. The 21 goals ties a school record for most goals in a game first set back in 1997, and hadn't been done since 2006. The Tigers also set the record for largest margin of victory (21), fewest goals allowed in a game (0), and most points in a game (36).

#Carly Augustyn (Spencerport, NY/Churchville-Chili)#, #Rebecca Lampson (Penn Yan, NY/Penn Yan Academy)#, #Loren Azlein (Cleveland, OH/Gilmour Academy)#, Marlee Vlassis (Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse Minoa) and #Shelby Vakiener (Fairport, NY/Fairport)# all had three goals on the afternoon. Lampson led RIT with a career high nine points on three goals and six assists and scored her 100th career goal. She now has 100 goals and 51 assists in her Tiger career.

Vakiener and Vlassis each had five points, while #Tina Podrasky (Scranton, PA/Wyoming Seminary) had a goal and two assists. (Landisville, PA/Hempfield)Kirsten Francis and Ashleigh Caruso (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool)# each had two points.

The 36 points (21 goals, 15 assists) by the Tigers breaks the old record for points in a game (32) set back in 2007 versus Keuka.

RIT jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead and cruised home with seven goals in the second half.

The Tigers outshot the Raptors 32-7. The groundball battle was even at 15 apiece. RIT was 13-of-19 o clearing attempts .
#Katelyn Crane (Palmyra, NY/Palmyra-Macedon)# got the start, played the first half, and picked up the win, making two saves. #Caitlin Conway (Landisville, PA/Hempfield)# played the entire second half, making three saves.

RIT returns to action on Tuesday, April 10 at Nazareth College. First draw is at 4 p.m.
