ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT women's hockey team (6-5-2) heads to the central time zone to play a pair of non-conference games at No. 8 North Dakota (9-5-0) on Friday and Saturday. Both games from Ralph Engelstad Arena get underway at 8:07 p.m. EST.
RIT will look to get back in the win column after suffering a tough loss at Syracuse on Nov. 20, falling 2-1 in overtime. The Tigers were 53.4 seconds away from the win before Syracuse scored to tie the game, then tallied the game-winner in overtime. #

North Dakota jumped to eighth in the recent USCHO.com Division I poll and enter this weekend's contests on a five-game winning streak. Last weekend, the squad swept Minnesota Duluth by scores of 4-3 in overtime and 5-2. Monique Lamoureux scored twice, including the game-winner in overtime, on Friday, then notched the hat-trick on Saturday. The senior duo of twins Monique and Jocelyne Lamoureux lead North Dakota offensively. Jocelyne Lamoureux leads the team with 15 goals and 25 points, while Monique Lamoureux has nine goals and 19 points. Both women have eclipsed 200 career points. In net, Jorid Dagfinrud is 5-2-0 with a 1.65 goals against average and .925 save percentage.
This weekend's games will be the first two meetings between the two schools.
