ROCHESTER, NY -- In a rematch of last year's NCAA Quarterfinals, the No. 1 ranked RIT women's hockey team shutout Adrian College 4-0 on Friday at Ritter Arena. The Tigers scored four power play goals, improving to a 13-0-0 on the season. Adrian drops to 5-6-2. Junior #

Laura Chamberlain (Norco, CA/LA Selects)# picked up her eighth win of the season and third shutout, making 14 saves. The Tigers held Adrian scoreless on all five of their power play chances.
Kunichika gave the Tigers a 1-0 lead at 10:22 of the first on her ninth goal of the season. She scored on assists from McCrea and Schlattman.
Schlattman made it 2-0 RIT at 13:01 of the first period on her first goal of the game. #
Kristina Moss (Webster, NY/Buffalo Bisons) and
Ariane Yokoyama (Van Nuys, CA/LA Selects)# had the assists on the play as Schalttman jammed home a loose puck in front of the Adrian net off a shot from Moss. Yokoyama extends her point-scoring streak to 22 games, dating back to last season

She fired a shot from the slot that beat Adrian goaltender Brittany Zeches to give the Tigers a three goal advantage.
Schlattman scored again at 16:21 of the third period off assist from McCrea and Kunichika that made it 4-0 Tigers.
RIT is now 43-1-2 over its last 46 regular season games dating back to Jan. 30, 2010, and have won six straight over Adrian. They have outscored opponents 80-12 this season.
These same two teams will meet again on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 3 p.m. at Ritter Arena.
