ITHACA, NY -- The RIT (10-13, 7-7 E8) men's basketball dropped a critical conference game at Ithaca on Tuesday night, losing to the Bombers 93-61.
The first half was close for the first 6:30. The Tigers tied the score at 12-12 on a jump shot by senior
Darryl Anderson (San Diego, CA/Southwest).
From that point on Ithaca dominated play, leading 50-31 at the half. The Tigers shot 37.1 percent from the floor and were 3-for-8 from behind the arc. The Bombers shot 47.2% from the floor with eight of their field goals coming from three point range.
The Tigers trailed by as many as 30 points in the second half.
Senior
Nate Korinchak (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) led RIT with 13 points and four rebounds.
Darryl Anderson (San Diego, CA/Southwest) added 10 points for RIT who will face Utica College on Friday, February 18 at 8 pm.
