ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT (2-3) women's basketball team was defeated by William Smith 72-59 in the third place game of the 19th Annual Wendy's College Classic. The Tigers finish fourth for the first time ever in the Wendy's Classic and win the Nick Urzetta Sportsmanship Award.

Kayla Wheeler (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa)# for the Tigers, who scored 11 points and had 10 rebounds, was named to the Wendy's College Classic All-Tournament team.
William Smith broke the game open with a run to open the second half and never looked back. RIT pulled to within seven points late in the half, but could get no closer.
