ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's tennis team dropped an 8-1 decision to SUNY Geneseo in non-conference action from the Gordon Field House and Activities Center on Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers lone win came at first singles where Liz Uhrinec (Brewerton, NY/Central Square) defeated Dexuan Yuan 7-6 (7-5), 6-2. She and Kat Pillman (Greece, NY/Greece Athena) filled in at first doubles, losing to Julie Passik and Monica Yuan 8-4 in a tight match. 

RIT will round out the fall portion of their schedule at the New York State Championships beginning Oct. 14 and running throough Oct. 16.
