ADRIAN, MI - Four different players scored goals, as the No. 1 RIT women's hockey team (14-0-0) picked up its 14th straight win to begin the 2010-11 season, rallying twice to defeat Adrian (8-3-1), 4-2 on Friday evening.

Kylie Mazzetta (Lakewood, CO/Colorado Selects)# gave RIT the lead for good with a power-play goal 1:18 into the third period, her third tally of the season. A shot from the blueline was blocked with a botched clearing attempt going to Mazzetta, who ripped a wrist shot just under the crossbar for the goal.

Ali Hills (Honeoye Falls, NY)# gave RIT some breathing room with 5:10 left, banging home a rebound in front after #
Megan Kobar (Calgary, Alberta)# was stopped by Adrian goaltender Emily Michelin.
RIT trailed 1-0 for just under six minutes in the first period and 2-1 for five minutes in the second period before rallying each time to tie the game. It is the first two times all season that RIT trailed in a game.
Adrian got on the board first at the 6:44 mark of the opening period on a goal by Jessica Grubbs. #
Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks)# tied the game at 1 on the power-play at the 12:34 mark of the period, tapping home a loose puck at the side of the net after #
Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge)# was stopped in close by Michelin. The puck scooted to the goal line before Dagg shoveled it in for her eighth goal of the year. #
Ariane Yokoyama (Van Nuys, CA/LA Selects)# also assisted on the goal.
RIT held a 12-8 edge in shots after 20 minutes of play.
Stecey Kempson gave Adrian a 2-1 lead 7:48 into the second period, as she took a breakaway feed from Danielle Maludy on a bad line change by the Tigers. She was able to beat #
Laura Chamberlain (Norco, CA/LA Selects)# for her 10th goal of the season.
RIT battled back and tied the game at 2, as #
Tenecia Hiller (Brampton, Ontario/Brampton Thunder)# tapped in a rebound off a shot by Stack in close. #
Melissa Bromley (Aurora, Ontario/Aurora Panthers)# also assisted on the goal, Hiller's seventh of the year.
The Tigers, who were playing for the first time in 28 days, shrugged off the first period rust to out-shoot Adrian 30-3 over the final two periods and 42-11 overall. Chamberlain moved to 10-0-0, stopping nine shots. Michelin made 38 saves in defeat for the Bulldogs.
RIT is 3-0-0 all-time against Adrian. It is just the fourth time this season that RIT was held to less than five goals. Stack led all scorers with two assists, taking over the national lead in points with 23.
The two teams conclude their weekend series in Adrian on Saturday at 2 p.m.
