ROCHESTER, NY -- The RIT women's basketball lost to Ithaca College 76-60 in Empire 8 action on Saturday.
RIT fell behind early in the first half, but got back in the game on the strength of a 14-2 run midway through the half. The Tigers took a five-point lead on a pair of free throws by
Kayla Wheeler (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa).
The Bombers responded with a 29-12 run over the final 13:10 of the half, leading 41-29 at the half.
RIT struggled shooting in the second half and allowed 21 secnd chance points as Ithaca stretched their lead to 20 points in the second half.
RIT shot 34.4 percent from the floor on 22-of-64 shooting. The Tigers were 7-of-21 from behind the arc led by #
Leslie Havens (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton)# who scored 16 points.

Riley Dunn paced Ithaca with 16 points. Jane DiBiasse and Elizabeth Conti each had 13 points and Jessica Farley added 10 points for the Bombers who remain undeafeated in Empire 8 play.
