CANTON, NY -- The RIT (4-1-1) men's soccer team dropped their first game of the season with a 2-0 loss at St. Lawrence University (3-2-0) on Friday afternoon.
St. Lawrence's Sam DeMello scored on a penalty kick 7:16 into the game to give the Saints a 1-0 lead. He was taken down by RIT goalie

Sean Scott gave St. Lawrence a 2-0 in the 55th minute. Brendan Gorman had the assist on the two-on-one play.
The Saints had a 6-3 edge in corner kicks and a 28-10 overall shot advantage, 12-2 on goal. RIT goalkeeper
Sean Conway (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park) finished the game with 10 saves for the Tigers and is now 4-1-1 on the season.
RIT will face Clarkson University on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff in Potsdam, New York is at 2 pm.
