Men's Soccer loses 3-0 in Liberty League action at Union

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 3-0 at Union in Liberty League action, Saturday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
  • Arturo Pena Fulcar scored in the 32nd minute to give Union a 1-0 lead.
  • Sophomore midfielder Tony Shin and senior forward Eoin Stansfield each had shots on goal in the opening half for RIT.
  • Joseph Carofano gave Union a 2-0 lead on his goal in the 58th minute.
  • Luke Ingber scored in the 66th minute to make it a 3-0 final.
  • Senior midfielder Tate Pottle and junior midfielder Adrian Sobczak each had a shot on goal in the second half for the Tigers.
 
GAME NOTES:
  • RIT outshot Union, 10-9. The Tigers fired four shots on net.
  • The Tigers took five corner kicks to seven for the Garnet Chargers.
  • Junior goalie Kristian Dobbek finished with two saves.
