CHILI, NY -- The RIT women's basketball team (2-6) lost its second-to-last game of the 2010 calendar year, 83-46 loss at Roberts Wesleyan College on Tuesday night.
RIT fell behind 10-0 early in the first half and trailed 40-14 at the half. The 14 points scored in the first half is the lowest point total for the Tigers in a half this season.
The Tigers were 6-of-32 shooting in the first half, including 0-for-14 from behind the three point line. #
Leslie Havens (Wayland, NY/Wayland-Cohocton)# led RIT with six first-half points.
RIT shot much better in the second half, shooting 40% from the floor on 12-of-30 shooting. Havens and #
Courtney Tennant (Cortland, NY/Cortland)# each scored nine points in the second half to lead the way for RIT.

Kayla Wheeler (Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa)# scored six second-half points, finishing with 10, while grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds.
Havens led RIT with 15 points, seven rebounds, two steals and an assist. Tennant finished with 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked a shot.
Freshman #
Mallory Apperson (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove)# scored six points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists for the Tigers who fall to 2-6 on the season.
RIT is off until December 31 when the Tigers host D'Youville College. Tip-off at Clark Gymnasium is at 6 pm.
