OSWEGO, NY - The RIT wrestling team (0-2) put up a strong fight, but was ultimately defeated by SUNY Oswego, 27-14 on Saturday afternoon.  RIT won four of the matches on the afternoon.

Senior #Mike McInally (Bergen, NY/Byron-Bergen)# picked up his 109th career victory, moving him into a tie for second place all-time in wins at RIT.  He defeated Scott MacGregor of Oswego, 7-3 at 133 lbs.  McInally is 5-0 this season, and 109-16 in his stellar RIT career.

Freshman kyle Hoffer (Anchorage, AK/East Anchorage) picked up a 3-1 win over Joe Senf at 149 lbs.  #Tyler Brent (Gasport, NY/Royalton-Hartland)# earned a technical fall victory, 16-0 over Kevin Shirley at 184 lbs.  #Dave Sickler (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon)# then upended Kyle Sheridan at 197 lbs, 3-1 to round out the scoring for RIT.

The Tigers return to action on Saturday, as they compete at the Red Dragon Invitational hosted by SUNY Oneonta.
