ROCHESTER, NY – The fourth ranked women's hockey team (6-1-2) topped Adrian College (5-7-0) 4-0 on Friday evening at Ritter Arena. Three different Tigers chipped in for RIT's sixth victory of the season.
RIT outshot the Bulldogs 46-11, and nine power plays to Adrian's eight.
RIT struck in the first period on a #
Missy Hall (Chesterland, OH/Gilmour Academy) goal to make the score 1-0. Hall took a pass from freshmen defensemen (Tinley Park, IL)Ariane Yokoyama (Van Nuys, CA/LA Selects)#, and fired the puck past Adrian goaltender Dana Timm. This marks Halls fifth goal on the season.

The defense played excellent for the Tigers, helping goaltender #
Amy Torgerson (Owatonna, MN/Gilmour Academy)# (3-0-1) earn her first shutout of the season. Torgerson made 11 saves.
