ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's basketball team suffered a tough 59-36 loss to Empire 8 and neighboring rival St. John Fisher (6-2, 5-1 Empire 8) at the Clark Gymnasium Tuesday night. The Tigers fall to 3-7 on the season and 0-4 in conference.
The first half saw slow starts from both teams. The Cardinals began the scoring and continued to a 6-0 lead. RIT's first mark on the scoreboard came from five-time Rookie of the Week #

The rest of the half saw little action, with RIT giving up 14 turnovers and the Cardinals turning the ball over 11 times.
Going into the second half with a 23-18 lead, the Cardinals continued to increase the gap, leaving the Tigers with a 20 point deficit with 12 minutes left.
