PITTSBURGH, PA -
The RIT Women's Volleyball team defeated John Carroll on Saturday afternoon by a score of 30-22, 26-30, 30-16, 30-28 in day two action of the Carnegie Mellon Crossover Tournament to improve to 14-3 on the season.

Senior Laurie Underhill (East Aurora, NY/Mt. Mercy) (East Aurora, NY/Mt. Mercy) led the way with 16 kills.  Sophomore Shea Haney (Newark, DE/St. Elizabeth) (Newark, DE/St. Elizabeth's) recorded 13 kills to go along with five blocks.  Christina Anabel (Apalachin, NY/Vestal) (Apalachin, NY/Vestal) had 12 kills and nine digs.

Katie Werner (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) (Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) dished out 50 assists, to goalong with nine digs and three blocks.

RIT plays its final game of the weekend versus Gettysburg at 4 p.m.
